One Ends; Another Begins

As the Creative Angels Hunt ends today at 4pm SLT, we brace ourselves for midnight... when the Naughty Toys Hunt (Happy Hunters) begins! For this hunt, we've created scripted collars for both men and women. The scripts are Dari's Haus... the builds are ours.

Since The FleaMarket was 'killed' before its Grand Opening (see notecard explanation in group notices) but the parcel was paid up for a few weeks, I (Ellie) had created a relaxing public park setting for all to enjoy. There's only a week left of paid tier on the property now so, if you haven't enjoyed the park yet, you'd better get to it before it disappears!! (We can't afford to keep it along with our other tiers/rents, unfortunately).

RL has kept us busy for weeks now and we haven't been creating much of anything new except hunt gifts. As SOON as we manage to get a couple things ready, you'll be receiving gifts again. THANKS for your patience and patronage. :)) You're treasured...

Merry Month O' May

We've just completed a "secret" GROUP ONLY Outpost where "Ellie's Attic of Treasures" group members have access to LOTS of freebies, as well as deeply discounted items (which may or may NOT be available in the main store). As of today, April 13th, Ellie's Attic is in a NEW location and almost twice the size! Circumstances required a hasty and unexpected move this week. Although I was rushed, I managed to do a 'quick and dirty' add-on to the store... giving us room to put more of our goodies out! (We have more still, which you will only find on the Marketplace.) The hunt eggs are now a bit easier to find because I was in a hurry and just kind of tossed them out... hehe... but that will change soon as things are slowing down again. I will be mean and hide them in tricky places for the last handful of days of the Spring Fling Hunt. So... GET 'EM NOW!!  :P

"Just Because..." I'm bored and wanting some excitement, I've decided to hide a DOZEN colored eggs around the parcel on which [ E l l i e ' s  A t t i c ] sits.... and call it a HUNT! 

Not sure yet how long I will leave them out but it is safe to say they will be there AT LEAST through Sunday, April 17th.  They are available to ANYONE to buy for L$10, so tell all your friends to come hunt as well! Are they easy to find??? Not necessarily. They're not very big either. (No whining; they're only L$10!!)  Oh... and I will move them around, too. First and foremost, dear treasures, I should apologize for being "quiet" for so long. It has been a very busy month  or more. RL has a way of getting most of my attention but things have been hectic in SL, too.

[Ellie's Attic] has moved once again. The sim where we had been no longer exists. I scrambled to quickly find a new place and ended up getting a small parcel instead of more mall space. I put together a skybox ATTIC as well as an inviting area on the ground for passersby on the sim.... and we're back in business!!  Please come check it out, if you haven't already. (I will warn you, however, that we will likely move yet again this summer when I can afford more space. I have used EVERY SINGLE PRIM available on this new property! LOL)

Ground Level Attic Entry

The Timeless Treasures Hunt began on Saturday, March 12th, and has been running quite smoothly with widely hailed response! I cannot express how relieved I am, and happy to know that the time spent in organizing and preparing is paying off. Come down to the new store for more info on getting started on this hunt!! It ends again on Sunday, March 20, and I would recommend NOT waiting until the last minute. There are some truly awesome gifts being offered ~ DON'T MISS OUT!

[Ellie's Attic] is also participating in another charity event: the Pacific Coast Fundraiser, with donations going through Americares.org . I've created an exclusive set of "Caged Heart" silks (our best selling silks) in a pretty lavender color called "Hope". 100% of Hope's sales through these vendors will be donated to help those affected by Friday's earthquake, the tsunami, and other traumatic crises that have resulted. Vendors are located at the main store, all satellite locations, and the main charity event hall. There are also donation boxes set up at all these locations (all over SL, as a matter of fact!) if you would be willing to simply drop in whatever spare lindens you have.... but aren't interested in spending the L$200 in return for these pretty silks. The main charity event hall has hundreds of items by many designers -- ALL offered as gifts to you for your generous donations for this cause. PLEASE take a little time to check it out...

And finally, I must admit to you all that my delay in putting out a new group gift is mainly due to being SO busy and I just haven't created anything new (with the exception of the Hope silks and the TTH gift). She is just getting started (and moving forward rather slowly because she has been immersed in roleplay lately), but these eyes turned out really very nice!! They're only L$50/pair... and any/all sales of the eyes means she will be hittin' up Mom for lindens LESS OFTEN!! hehehe For that, I would be grateful!

DSN, The Kidney Foundation, and MORE!!

Just a few things to catch up:


[ E l l i e ' s   A t t i c ] is now part of the Designer Showcase Network (DSN)! SL residents can subscribe to the DSN free of charge via any DSN kiosk, and choose among 9 channels/categories. The Network then delivers promotional samples from the participating designers to subscribing residents - no more than one per day and channel; randomly selected. We now have a kiosk in the Main Store and I encourage you all to try it! There are some really wonderful gifts being offered through DSN. (I have subscribed through two of my original avatars since early 2009.)

[ E l l i e ' s   A t t i c ] is continuing to make preparations for the Timeless Treasures Hunt, which we are sponsoring and organizing. Some truly WOW! designers will be offering you fantastic gifts. PLEASE be sure to get yourself into the Timeless Treasures Hunt group so you can stay abreast of what's happening with that. A few early bird gifts have already been distributed through that group... so, if you've not added the group yet, you are missing out!! (It's FREE and you now have 42 group slots!! YAYYYYY!)


The next hunt we will be participating in is the Bourbon Street Debauchery Hunt, starting on February 8th! For this one, we are collaborating with Kohl Staheli of SecondXstasy, to bring you something truly innovative and fun! Of course, it's also in line with the hunt's theme so... it's unlike anything we've produced thus far. (It's right up Kohl's alley, though, so he's leading the way and being gentle with us.)  *cough, cough *  ... Where was I...?  Oh yes!


It will ultimately be a 'lite' version of a new line of products coming this Spring! The way the item is presented will be a bit unique as well. (More details to come as we feel it's safe to reveal them without having our ideas ripped off, frankly.)


Group gift will be switched out in less than a week so grab yours at the store while you can, if you haven't already. Also, if you haven't yet checked out EaHH and visited the charity event hall, you're missing out on some great deals (while also making a difference for Australians affected by recent flooding with the lindens you spend). PLEASE get down there before it all ends on February 8th. We have more info at the store but your greatest resource will be HERE.


Just a few new items at the store:

• ~Digital Downpour, 2 varieties of a scripted wall panel that you have to see in-world to appreciate. Let your curiosity drag your pixels down there!

Got a "wild hair" and decided to play around with stained glass.

We now have circular stained glass windows of a few different

designs/colors and varying transparencies of the glass work.

At our booth, you will find a set of "Caged Heart" Silks on sale for the reduced price of L$400. 100% of sales for this item will be donated to the cause.

There is also a 50% vendor containing the JUST RELEASED Pregnancy Shape Series: Julia v1.0. Also selling for L$400 per set, HALF of all proceeds for this item will go to the EaHH cause!

Extend a Helping Hand is an event put together by Sanura Sakai to raise funds for the Premier's Disaster Relief Appeal. The aim is to provide support and assistance to those Queenslanders affected by the recent massive flooding.

The flooding has already affected 22 towns, as of January 1st, and has forced many from their homes. It has had a devastating effect on many people's lives and livelihoods. An area larger than Germany and France combined has been affected by the flood-waters, and the impact will still be felt for some time to come.

The Extend a Helping Hand Market will be held from January 11th through to January 31st, though donation vendors and donation booths may be available sooner at individual stores across the grid - the Market is a central area for the event, but we're hoping that people will participate in their own mainstores and other locations also. Money raised will be donated to the Premier's Disaster Relief Appeal to assist those affected by the Queensland floods.

Timeless Treasures Hunt

I've created a couple drow skins, shapes, eyes... and am working on something for her to wear. Once that's complete, I'll release it!

About a week ago, I quietly released a mobile... a fun little celestial creation intended to be used in a baby's room. It's for sale in both stores though was intended for the maternity and pregnancy mall of Mama-Allpa. I have a much larger version of it hanging in the sky on my residential parcel... and it's GORGEOUS at night! As soon as I remember -- hopefully, the next time I'm in-world -- I will send out one of these larger versions to our treasured group members, so you can enjoy it, too.

Addy's got a few goodies up her sleeve but she's remaining hush-hush on those so I imagine I'll be just as surprised as everyone else when they're ready for release... hehe

Oh! The problem we were having with the Group Gift scripts has been resolved so know that you can simply pick yours up at the Main Store (Midnight Lotus).  The other freebies will disappear in the next day or 2, so get 'em now if you haven't already.

November News

As all of the hunts we were participating in ended yesterday, on Halloween, we've pulled up all the freebies we'd had scattered about the grid. With tens of thousands of items given out in the last month (no exaggeration!) in total, we're taking a break from giveaways/hunts for a few weeks, with a couple exceptions:

* You can still pick up the box of FREE spooky Halloween Sound FX at the Midnight Lotus store. They're in the black gift box with orange ribbon in the back, atop the FREE T-shirts that will remain sitting out for a while longer.
